A Multidisciplinary Response To Domestic Violence (Part 2 of a 2 part series)

Part 2 of this 2 part series focuses on the foundational level principles in providing a meaningful response to domestic violence.  
 
The target audience for this training includes law enforcement,  prosecutors, advocates, corrections/probation agents, social workers, and any professionals who respond to  domestic violence.  The training topics include:
 
1. Women’s use of violence in intimate relationships
2. Identifying self-defense in abusive relationships
3. Making predominant aggressor determinations
4. Investigating and documenting strangulation
5. Investigating violations of protective orders and stalking
 
This is a one day training offered on two different dates to maximize the number of participants from each agency.
