Minnesota currently has an estimated 1.5 million people aged 50 and over. This
population will continue grow and need services that meet their unique needs. The
Office of Violence Against Women developed a collaborative training to provide
domestic violence advocates, sexual assault advocates, adult protection workers,
aging network professionals and systems-based victim advocates with the information
and strategies to enhance the safety of older victims and enhance the quality of their
lives.

This two-day training is from 8:00 am - 4:30 pm on Day One and 8:30 am to 12:30 pm
on Day Two unless otherwise noted (Brooklyn Center location starts and ends 1 hour
later each day).
