SUMMARY:
Cornerstone was
founded in 1983 and provides comprehensive services to victims of domestic
violence and their children. Our Residential Services include a 35 bed
emergency shelter, a Supportive Housing program and Housing Resources Services.
Day One ® is a statewide program of Cornerstone that operates the MN Domestic
Violence Crisis Line. Cornerstone’s community based programming includes legal
assistance in Criminal, Civil and Family Court. Cornerstone’s Children Youth
& Families Program provides youth counseling, therapeutic services and
school based violence prevention. We engage community partners from law
enforcement, healthcare, education, elected officials and the faith community
in our target cities of Bloomington, Eden Prairie, Edina, Richfield and St
Louis Park.
SALARY: DOQ TYPE: Full Time / 40 hours

PRIMARY
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Supportive
Housing Specialist is a member of the team that works with families
participating in Cornerstone's Families in Transition Program. Once the family
is appropriately screened and accepted into the program, the Supportive Housing
Specialist will coordinate and deliver services for participants and her/his
children.
EXPERIENCE
AND QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
A minimum of
Associate Degree however a Bachelor's degree is preferred. A minimum of four
years of experience in working with victims of domestic abuse is required.
Transitional housing and case management experience preferred.
