Response to Abuse in Later Life ( Still Waters)

Minnesota currently has an estimated 1.5 million people aged 50 and over. This
population will continue grow and need services that meet their unique needs. The
Office of Violence Against Women developed a collaborative training to provide
domestic violence advocates, sexual assault advocates, adult protection workers,
aging network professionals and systems-based victim advocates with the information
and strategies to enhance the safety of older victims and enhance the quality of their
lives.

Kids in Transition

Date and Time:

It is a 6-week support group for youth ages 5-12 who have experienced family violence, relationship transitions and/or grief and loss. Sessions are 90 minutes long. Fee is $30 for the entire program. Parents/guardians are invited to join the last session for a group celebration. Call 612-870-2426 to register.
