Minnesota Coalition for Battered Women

This workshop will explore the potential benefits and risks to providing expert testimony as it relates to advocates being asked to testify as experts in battered women and domestic violence criminal presecution cases. The presenters will provide materials on how to become qualified as an expert, how to prepare for testifying, what to expect on direct and cross-examination and a demonstration of testimony.
